FinstersBrain
Hey all, I went and bought my kid the other day a pack of "glow sticks" and noticed on the package it said "Non-Radioactive".... Now i thought to myself, were the glow sticks when i was a kid made out of "radioactive" material?..... also would they have a purpose in FNV for night time?,....or would it be a useless item?..... The eerie glow of the sticks would be cool,...if not o'well..

Firemans
I liked how the only two posts are just links :P There's already a mod for it anyway, as posted above. And in case you didn't want to go through the wiki, it comes down to this: Some of the chemicals used in older glow sticks were thought to potentially be carcinogens. (A carcinogen is any substance, radionuclide, or radiation that is an agent directly involved in causing cancer.)

(A carcinogen is any substance, radionuclide, or radiation that is an agent directly involved in causing cancer.) ...lovely. Now I feel worse for what i did a few years back. >.>;;; It was Canada day (at night) at a park near here and it was a tad dull. The guy at a stand selling glowsticks wasn't doing well with his sales. So we bought a few to try and liven things up. Then I had an awesome idea. I took out my keys, pressed the already broken glowstick to a tree and cut into it. I couldn't get it cut all the way off, so I bit the top and ripped it off. My tongue went numb instantly. Not much of a taste, but the cold feeling of your tongue going numb instantly was freaky. I called over a lady friend, Melissa, and sprayed her shirt with it. She was willing. Then all my friends got in on it and, with a bit more success and no longer using my teeth, took all our glowsticks and sprayed Melissa. She took off into the night as a human glowstick running around the park. By the time we got back to the vendor, all the glow sticks had been sold. o.o We saw dozens of people doing the same thing. Apparently, this was his best year for selling those... Slightly off topic, but still slightly on. XD Hopefully amusing.
