RedDeadRider
My video card died and had to be replaced. I went from a Nvidia Geforce 6200 256 to a Nvidia Geforce 6200 512. My game was never great but now it is unplayable! About the only thing that works is VATS. There is a sever lag in menu response and movement jumps around terribly. I have turned everything down to low / 0 / off, etc and I also tried turning off every mod but the core FO3 files with the same results. I haven't change mod mods since adding the new card. I have upgraded the drivers. The game is through steam so it is patched also. I know I'm missing something but I'm at a loss. 2 gig ramP4 2.60geforce 6200 512 Mod list (just in case) http://pastebin.com/dZHA54Af
RadRich
Man, I had problems playing Fallout 3 when I had a Q9300 OC'd and 8GB of ram, with a GTX460 (and later GTX460 in SLI). Your card and CPU isn't up to spec to run this game. Once you get a faster CPU, you'll have no problem running this game, even with a lower grade video card (which I don't recommend if you'd already upgraded the CPU). quicksilverva
the P4 (im assuming to be Pentium 4), should be up to snuff, albeit a bit slow. the biggest killer would probably lie in the memory (or lack thereof with 2gb being the mininum required) if you havent tried it already, try using Fallout Stutter Remover and/or updating your vid drivers
