Machienzo
I need help. It's a very simple mesh edit which I have no idea how to do. I need help. Basically, this mesh: "armor\bigbattle\MaskBattlearmor.NIF" is a face mask with goggles, which looks about like this. I want to REMOVE the goggles. That's all. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/images/37038-1-1289367654.jpg
Quetzlsacatanango
Open the file in nifskope, right click on the goggles, branch -> remove branchwill probably do it.
Machienzo
Sorry, doesn't help. It's set as one branch of 'helmet'. So if I delete that branch, I delete it all.
Quetzlsacatanango
That's kind of surprising, but in that case you will have to do it in blender. Import it, go to edit mode and delete all the vertices for the goggles, go back to object mode, select armature only, export nif.

Yeah, you are going to have to learn blender, which has a pretty steep learning curve compared to Nifscope.
Machienzo
I've had many problems with blender just even trying to install it.
