Anyone know a simple mod that shows the player's current bounty on the HUD? Thanks.

having to hit a key to find your bounty would be just as annoying as having to go without the time of day in the HUD (i can't remember whose mod idea that one was, but i liked it). Particularly on the slower machines where it takes a second to bring up the character sheet.

 

I dont play an infamous character, but if i did, i reckon i'd find it really annoying not having that info in the HUD.

It's just that whenever I steal something or kill someone I have a habit of checking to see if I actually got away with it or not.

good point, and knowing me; in that situation, i would just load it and try again if i didn't do it right :)

I always go out of my way to get no bounty. However, it has been proved that if you commit a large number of crimes without getting caught, it can cause problems with a save. If you commit crimes often, its smart to go and steal a piece of paper once in a while and just pay the bounty. It resets this invisible counter and the save is safe.
