splowdee
During the Cheydinhal Oblivion gate quest my character was struck by a "Sludge Fiend" and it turned her skin a strange animated texture of green. this is the first time this has happened and ive been hit by fiends many times before but this has never happened. Its a panning texture that flows from her head to her feet and it covers anything i have equipped as well. Armor, weapons, jewelry etc. are all affected. i ant get rid of it no matter what ive tried so far, restarting the game doesnt help, re-zoning doesnt help, leaving oblivion doesnt help etc. it looks like this - http://gallery.clanfudge.net/main.php/d/25256-1/ScreenShot73.jpg Im at a complete loss, as i said this is just a recent development. I have FCOM installed, which is where the monsters come from, and its the only major game changer i have installed ATM (Other than graphics mods, texture packs, OBGE etc.)
Keirgarth
Graphics mods sounds like it might be the culprit, as do texture packs. Have you recently added something new that might be causing this? Have you double checked your active spell list to see if there is anything showing up there that might be causing this in game? This could be the result of fighting that type of creature. You might need to visit a healer or shrine.
splowdee
i uninstalled every graphics mod i had installed via bash, that didnt fix it. Theres no negative spell effects or anything tagged for something i dont have control over in my spell effects list. I wound up loading a previous save to fix it, but the strange thing is I had to go back 3 saves to get rid of it... This is by far the most bizarre issue ive seen from this game :wallbash:
Keirgarth
Sorry to hear you had to go that far back to get things fixed. Hope you don't run into this again.
