How to set up FOMM? (Not installation, the second phase)

Hello all, I've been trying to set up the FOMM. After finally figuring out which folder to install it to, its now asking me to choose the two directories where to store the FOMods and install info. The two bars are giving me directories that haven't been created yet, and I'm guessing they need to be in a pre-existing folder. I can't find any tutorials (Let the guys the have the download page for the FOMM that they mentioned supposedly "great" tutorials, but never bothered to give a link to them) that will help me out here.

 

Can anyone give me some help? I'm getting a bit stressed.

Just make two folders anywhere you want (my folders are in D:/FOMOD), set the paths to those two folders in FOMM and you're done. Edited September 6, 2011 by Werne

If directories don't exist, any semi-decent program (FoMM falls into this category) will create them for you. Mine are installed in the game directory of the game they're for, so:

G:\Games\Fallout 3\fomm

and

steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\fomm

Mod Organizer is giving me an "Installation as fomod failed: This module is not usable with this setup" error.

Fallout Mod Manager or as it is known, FOMM is a mod manager and the file is downloaded as an executable. It is not in the FoMod format and you cannot install a mod manager with a mod manager.
