Is there a Maximum Number of Caps you can sell?

I have notice a bigg problem when i sell items in the game. Sometimes i sell things for arround 25.000 caps, but i only recieve a few 1000. Is there somewhere a limit? Maximum X caps you can have per day? Or is this a know problem with a fix?

 

It happends everywhere in New Vegas, and even in my big mountain room at the central unit and other wasteland locations (frankies guns, Goodspring Inn, Birds Nest) created with mods.

you can have over a million, but the vendor can't have more than the above.

I have vendors with much more caps than 24000.

 

My sink in Bigg mountain : + 68.000

 

Birds nest chef security : + 180.000

 

BTW ; I have notice that trading don't give a problem.

I think this got fixed in version 1.4, probably due to the DLC the devs knew players would be stacked with caps. I tested it recently and found the old strange behvaior is fixed. Had a vendor with around 130K caps worked AOK.

 

Was nice because with the right SPECIAL, clothing and an implant its easy to win 30,000-40,000 caps from the Freeside and Strip casinos pretty fast the first day you arrive, simply playing Blackjack. Then you want to spend them.

 

(The White Glove society used a crooked dealer and stacked deck on me but eventually I still got banned lol.)
