DarkUI'd DarN Interface Compressing Into Middle of Screen

I was playing Oblivion with no issues on my 1920x1080 LCD widescreen, and Dark/DarN had been working beautifully for a couple of weeks at that resolution since I installed it and started a new game. I left Oblivion for several days--but changed nothing in my Oblivion setup--and now I'm having several issues, possibly linked:

- the HUD is compressing itself, vertically and horizontally, into the center of the screen, making each element quite small, but still (uncomfortably) readable. It appears the HUD thinks it's on a smaller, non-widescreen display, while the main game behind it still uses my full screen. This compression begins with the first loading screen after the Bethesda logo movie and continues into the game itself

- the "hotspots" for interaction between interface and mouse aren't, in many cases, on their buttons and sliders. Some I can find near their indicated locations, others I can't find at all. The higher on the screen a HUD element is, the more likely its hotspot is to be close to the right place, but none is where it "should" be

- the compass is now a blank box with only a vertical line in the centre

I assume it's coincidence, but just in case: while I was away from Oblivion I installed DarN for a new game of Fallout 3, and it's working properly there. My copies of Oblivion and Fallout 3 both run under Steam, but they have separate folders under steamapps\common and My Documents\My Games.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Dark/DarN's OMOD with OBMM 1.1.12, and nothing's changed.

Does any of this sound familiar enough to anyone that you can recommend fixes or further investigation?

Thanks.

There is a setting in Oblivion.ini relating to FOV (default is 75), sounds to me like you have something that edited this either in script or the ini itself. Check for this setting, be sure it is 75.

Perfect. I've had it set in Oblivion.ini to 90 since I started, as that's the setting many sites recommended for widescreen. No idea why it stopped working, but changing it back to 75 got rid of the problem.

Thanks!
