Keirgarth
darthbollo, how are we supposed to help you out when we have given you directions, and suggested that you follow the extensive information available, and yet you still have trouble. Then you post and reply, but fail to tell us what exactly you are having an issue with. Which part of the instruction are you not able to follow? 7Force
In order to help you, you have to give us a detailed description of what you did already and HOW you did it. If you attempted a manual install of DR6, along with all prerequisite files, AGAINST the readme's recommendations, you might be totally boned. Not using the mod manager means it would be VERY hard to rectify what you might have fudged up.

MShoap13
Have you performed BSA Redirection at least once under OBMM or Wrye Bash as your form of Archive Invalidation? If not, texture and animation replacers are unlikely to work. Have you used File Date Changer to roll the "Date Last Modified" back on all of the .bsa archives that came with your Vanilla Oblivion install? If so, how far back did you go? If not, do it, and go back to ~2005. This step is required for BSA Redirection to work properly. Is Steam installed under the Program Files directory under Windows Vista/7? If so, Windows UAC is most likely the culprit and it is recommended to move your Steam install and reinstall Oblivion.
