xXRegnierXx
So, I installed Deadly Reflex 6.0 with all the required mods, with OBMM and when I start the game, there is a message which says "Ready to play" or something like that. I also got the "Deadly Reflex Reset" in my inventory but there is no message popping out when I click it to set the controls. Here is my mod load list if it helps you: Oblivion.esmNehrim.esmDLCHorseArmor.espNatural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Weather_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Water_by_Max_Tael.espNatural_Weather_HDR_by_Max_Tael.espDropLitTorchOBSE.espNehrimData.espNatural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.espSP1stPLegs.espDeadly Reflex 6 - Timed Block with no damage or durability changes.espDeadlyReflex 6 - Combat Moves.esp I hope that you can help me :)
eric31415
While i only tried DR6 for a short time before switching back to DR5, i remember that the DR reset didn't do anything yet (keep in mind that DR6 is still an unfinished beta). To change the hotkeys, you will need to use the DR ini file. Other than that, it sounds like it's installed correctly and should be working. Try using some of the new moves, if bash and duck work everything should be fine. Most of the more advanced moves are skill-level dependant and may not be available to a fresh character. Unrelated note - Deactivate one of those Natural Weather esps. Choose either HDR or normal-res, not both.
xXRegnierXx
Ok I am downloading the DR5 now and yes a few moves did work, dodge bash and I remembered to see some kicks...but they only worked like 5 minutes after game start. E: Do I have to use the hotfix for v5 too? Edited September 12, 2011 by xXRegnierXx
eric31415
You only need the hotfix if you DL the manual installer version. I used the DR 5 OMOD, which has the hofix already applied. I would highly recommend you use this version. It's odd that DR6's moves would only work for 5 min. They either should or should not work altogether. BigMacDk
As mentioned in a previous thread, I cant make DR6 work either (steam version) butI did make DR5 work and also UV2 along side it with little effort. I do get a few crashes, but after spending a week trying to understand, install and makemods work with Oblivion, thats to be expected when you mess with the files etc. Cheers, BMD
xXRegnierXx
I got DR5 working now ty for telling me that I didn't know DR6 was real just a Prototype..he should call it alpha and not beta <.<
Keirgarth
Beta by it's nature is buggy depending on how far along it is. Beta can be the release right after alpha, or can be the release that is called release candidate which is usually the one right before the final. Obviously the beta that is right before final will be less buggy.
