Lardtree3
Would anyone be able to make a quick retex of the Iron Maiden armor (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39874)? I would love a black version and perhaps have it be a bit more reflective. I know this is a pretty mundane request, but hopefully someone is bored enough to take a crack at it. JDFan
That's a pretty easy one - just a matter of inverting the color and then darkening a bit to make the light parts become black -- Would something Like this work ? -- Have the armor done if it looks OK -- did you also want the shield redone and do you want it as a replacer for the originals or in addition to them ? Also Remember if this is going to be used for a public release be sure to get permission from the original mod maker ( I can send you the retex for personal use but if you plan to release it you'll nedd the proper permissions from the maker !! )

Using it as a replacement is fine for me, it's just personal use; I'm not releasing it. Were you able to add any kind of reflection to the metal? If not, it still looks great! EDIT: Out of curiosity, what program can I use to create meshes that Oblivion will understand? I suck at texturing, but I'm a decent modeler Edited September 14, 2011 by Lardtree3

I suck at texturing, but I'm a decent modeler I didn't add any reflection but I believe they already had the apply mode for the texture property set to Apply-Highlight which should add some (I'll check and test it in game to see if it looks OK before sending you the files and maybe make a few adjustments -- Did you also want the shield ? I have to go to work in just a bit but should have some time afterwards to get it done and send to you (will be using it myself - so want to make some new icons also ) For modeling Blender or Max are the most used - you just need to get the proper plugins for the Nif format so you can import\export them directly. JDFan
Finished it up and sent you a PM with the link (let me know if you do not recieve it for some reason) -- Here is a pic of it in game -- I made a new .esp to replace the old one that adds the new set of armor to the same location as the original ( instead of replacing the original ) so you can use both if you want.
