Anybody up for making a companion/quest mod?

My idea is to have a ghoul preacher at the Atomic Wrangler preaching about sinfulness of humanity, especially that place. When the player approaches him the preacher asks the player to do something for him. I was thinking you could either tell the preacher to f*ck off or listen to him. The preacher tells the player of a missionaries trip he and a few others went on in Zion. The preacher then talks about how they stopped at New Canaanite for supplies. They stopped at the church where a tribal was yelling of a treasure stored some where near The Spine. The other missionaries laughed at the tribal for his ridiculous accusation. When the preacher and his group went out again to look for the treasure one of the members (Thomas) started going crazy with greed. He then kills the entire group except the Preacher who he simply wounds. The preacher then tells the player to either find Thomas and bring him to the preacher, kill Thomas, or leave Thomas alone so he can die of old age. Thomas would be located at at the El rey hotel west of Camp Mc carren. Inside a room, (any will do just fine). After completing the task the player then returns to the preacher and the preacher gives him a special gun,( a retextured ranger sequoia perhaps) and then the preacher offers to join the player. The player has a choice to 1.) To him no, 2.) Tell him yes, or 3.) Tell him you'll think about it.

 

Details about specific things:

 

-Special dialogue when or if the preacher is a companion would be quite nice but optional.

 

-While a companion the preacher should have a companion wheel if possible.

 

-Voice acting would be much appreciated but I don't need it. (If there is voice acting involved a rough old ghoul voice will be excellent.)

 

-Perhaps a side quest when the preacher has been a companion long enough.

Basic scripting and yes I will be part of the development. Just need a little help. :)
