There a way to script enemies that are essential so they won't get back up as quickly?

 

This is easily set in the tweaks in Wrye Bash (Essential NPC Unconscious). If you don't use Wrye Bash, try this mod.

If you are after a specific NPC instead of just all of them, take off their essential, and when you are ready for them to get back up, resurrect them. Easily done in a script.

 

I mean stuff in a dungeon mod like mobs of undead and such.

If you use OBSE. It's a global game setting (GMST). With OBSE installed use:

 

Short timeunconscious

 

con_SetGameSetting fEssentialDeathTime timeunconscious

I guess you can't affect specific things.

 

If by specific things you mean specific actors, then no. It's a global setting. One setting fits all, so to speak.
