I started using Wrye mainly for the bashed patch and then I got stuck with it. I still use OBMM for some OMODs that I'm too lazy to convert but only if they provide different install options, like Darn's UI for example. Regarding Archive Invalidation... BSA Redirection is the way to go nowadays. You can activate it either in OBMM or Wrye Bash. Another Wrye Bash zealot here, as well. But I don't mind repackaging mods in BAIN too much.
