  1. Try uninstalling your current OBGE and OBGE related mods and download the latest OBGE version fromhere.
  2. They usually come bundled when you install a media player app of some sorts. Have you installed any recently?
  3. It could be your graphics card or it could be mod related or a bad hard drive or something else. A more precise set of info would be more helpful, actually. Which exact mod are you refering to? And which NPCs; and are they vanilla or are they added by mod(s)? Posting your mod load order would help, too. Might as well post your graphic card model.
  4. Is it possible to hide the roads and paths with just the addition of grass meshes? I think I may have another idea. How about doing a static mesh (like a rock) shaped the same way as the landscape, elevate it slightly above the actual landscape and texture it with grass, then disable it by script as the quest progresses. Then it will reveal the true landscape mesh underneath which has the final paved texture. I'm not sure if the LOD might have quirks though, but do you think that might work? You could do it in stages. I think you can get away without adding collision to the fake grass mesh, too.
  5. Are you planning to pave the roads or will dirt roads do? I think the look of a well-worn path and having bits of grass at the side would be workable for a frontier type town and it would be a better transition from the empty state of the rural land.
  6. Yeah, I think that's it. The digital girl head wasn't exactly finished from a gameplay viewpoint. It had missing facial expression morph targets and I think the author stopped working on it. It still could be used as a screenshooter's resource though. If you want to try a high resolution custom head that's good enough for playing, I would suggest Throttlekitty's Head06. You may need to install this fix as well. One thing that might prevent you from completely enjoying it, though, is that it isn't compatible with the UVW map of the default Oblivion head so you would have to be picky about the textures that you'll be using on your character or NPC that use that head model.
  7. Have you checked out the NIFtools forum? I think you'll find the more technical people there than just here at the Nexus.
  8. Glad you're still putting effort on this mod QQuix. I'm really looking forward to playing it!
  9. You may want to try Deadly Reflex or Unnecessary Violence 3 but they come with their own set of problems. Sadly, hand to hand combat in Oblivion isn't much to begin with and couldn't really be modded to a fun level.
  10. Just restore the head model components back to the default and try this mod - EYELASHES OMOD. It's an ESP-less replacer and should work with custom races that use the mouthhuman.nif file. You might need to use OBMM to extract the files from the OMOD though.
  11. I think you might have meant TalkieToaster's Skeletal Variation. I think it might help the OP achieve his goal too.
  12. Could it be that your NPC has no teeth model? That would be the mouthhuman.nif.
  13. Sure, glad I could help. I haven't been active on the forums for the longest time either.
  14. My knowledge is rusty but I think you may need to generate other files than just the NIF. You'll need an EGM (mesh morph targets), an EGT (texture morph targets) and a TRI (facial expressions targets?) to match with your NIF head or the game will crash. EGM and TRI can be generated by Scanti's Conformulator but I'm lost at how to generate the EGT. You may try to check Throttlekitty's Head06 Resource for some clues. You may want to check out the default head meshes in nifskope to see how they are rigged and set in 3D space. Some Resources: A tutorial on EGM generation with the Conformulator.
  15. I think you may mean this - Personality Idles 4 by Dereko.
  16. BOSS is for re-ordering ESPs and ESMs, but the OP needed the BSAs for the textures redated. Or that's how I understood it.
  17. For the first request, this might suit you -> DLL - Dynamic Leveled Lists by Leviathan1753 for the second -> Clothing matters by kuertee
  18. Oblivion runs fine on Windows 7, both 32bit and 64bit version. I can't really say anything about Morrowind, though, since I don't have it installed on my laptop.
  19. Maybe, this one will do - Braided Redguard Hair by Kafeid Needs a little tweaking for use with other races than Redguards though. Try this one as well. Male Hair Mod by Elysian
  20. A number of your mods require OBSE, it seems. Have you installed it as well?
  21. Could be caused by a mod. Have you tried any inventory tweaking mod lately? Please post your mod load order so it would be easier to check.
  22. It could be that some mods might have dependencies that you haven't installed yet. That's quite a common factor for Oblivion's crash to the desktop on launch. Please post your mod load order, so we'll know what to look for.
  23. What INI files have you found in your My Documents\My Games\Oblivion folder? Try checking out the OBGE.INI if there is one. The ScreenEffects settings could have been saved there since it uses OBGE.
