modder3434
i play rpg's like elder scrolls, and warband because my real life in college is too boring. Yay! another college party with endless drinking (sarcasm). in these rpg's i get to be the hero or villain i couldn't be in real life. so no i wouldn't play as a regular person. besides you escape from your execution, so unless you get pardoned like in oblivion, your an escaped felon, and how many escaped felons get out of prison and go "hey i'm gonna live a regular life"

Iv000
@ MyNameIsAdamYou should definitely try roleplaying then! (If you haven't already)Basically, it's playing the game by your own rules. That may be simple rules like sleeping when you normally would, or more complicated ones like eating a few meals every day, washing yourself in the river on a daily basis, changing clothes when you go to bed etc. It's great fun, I highly recommend you try it. Here are some ideas that could help you with it: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Roleplaying Edited September 20, 2011 by Iv000

I guess I'll have to pretend that I need to do that. Or someone could make a hardcore mode mod.

GotMeFaded
hardcore mode would be very nice i totaly agree I was so disappointed when Bethesda announced they would not be including a Hardcore Mode. That would increased my play time by at least 100 hours.
Lemanruss27
well...if they did it like obsidian has in new vegas then i dont think it would last another 100 hours but a fairly longer ammount of time def.yes i didnt find the hardcore mode in new vegas too challenging at all, so.........
