If you add a comment in a mod's thread - using go to forum thread --

it works fine,

Now add emoticons to this reply

then go back to the individual nexus and edit your post using the intrinsic editor . . .

the emoticons change into something like this:

<img src='http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nuke.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':nuke:' />

from :nuke:

also blank lines seem to triple at the same time. --

It works fine for me.

Is there a space before the emoticon?

Edit: Never mind, I seem to have forgotten the last step.

It seems that when you edit it in the individual Nexus it doesn't recognize the emoticons from the Nexus.

If you are editing from the forum in a file thread, use the full editor. there is a problem between the forum and the sites that sometimes corrupts things. Using the full editor will preclude this problem.

This is not a new bug. It's been like this for a while. It happens to me often. If you edit your post, and then select 'use full editor' then 'preview post' It should fix it.
