TheAttendee Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Four Corners to Yuma is an upcoming quest based, story-driven mod focusing on the area of Yuma, Arizona. Created by myself and a friend. It starts with the Courier nearly drowning in the Colorado River and washing up near the city of Yuma. The Legion's presence is heavy in this area and will serve as the mod's major player in the story. Yuma is the last "stronghold" of The Legion before heading into NCR territories of the south and also serves as The Legions primary slave camp, where hundreds of slaves are sent to and from the city each day. The player will be allowed to side with The Legion (bad) or a group of resistance fighters compromised of former legion slaves and members of now-dead tribes (good). This means there are essentially two "paths" the player can make along the story all leading to one of four endings. Most of the storyline has been fleshed out already and some of it story-boarded. Currently I am working on writing out a "script" for the dialogue and quests involved. We intend to add at least another 3 hours of gameplay putting this on-par with some of the current DLC available from Obsidian. Obviously, this is no easy task and will require time to complete, so don't expect a release any time soon. I am trying to keep this as lore-friendly as possible without stepping on anyone's feet, a task of which required great thought and planning. Currently we are beginning the transition from planning to execution. I am capable of doing all (or most) of the actual creation of the mod myself, but would like to stretch my hand out the community. If you would like to lend a hand in any aspect (voice acting, scripting, modeling, anything really) then please feel free to let me know. Currently there are only two of us actually working on this and with more on the team we can (hopefully) get a stable release out within a couple months. You should play upon the theme of them being very stable as a society like New Vegas built on, just so they aren't a twirly-moustache bad guy faction.
