UI sound too loud

After fooling around and troubleshooting a bunch of my mods, all of a sudden the sound in the user interface has become very obnoxiously loud. Specifically when i scroll up and down through my items. I have tried altering the sliders in the Sound options, but when i lower the Effect slider, it lowers the sound of the environment too.

 

So what i am asking, is there a way to lower the menu sound without effecting the environment sound? I wouldn't mind getting rid of the menu sound all together if necessary.

OK i figured out the problem. It was Wrye Bash. When i made a bash Patch, one of the settings was to raise the attenuation level. Its a pretty cool feature, i can hear all the soft whooshes of the environment. Its a very pleasant and peaceful. But when i open my inventory all i hear is CLACK CLACK CLACK. I feel like my ears will start bleeding.

 

So question still stands. How do i get rid of the loud menu sound. Do i have to replace the sound files instead of deleting them or will i have to do something with the CS? Can anyone help.

I suggest that you bring this up in the official Wrye Bash thread over on the Bethsoft forums. Maybe the team can come up with a fix.
