Talos Plaza Problem

I've been trying to get Oblivion running for the past few days, all problems are pretty much taken care of after I nerfed my last install. This time around I am having trouble with Talos Plaza....All doors are listed as Wooden Doors and I can't enter any of them. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, used wyre bash and OBMM for installing mods and Boss to sort my load order....and I still can't go into any doors in Talos Plaza. Now I can pull the rest of my hair out and hope someone has an answer.

This isn't really a fix, but it might 'fix' what the problem is. Try installing 'Better Cities', it'll change things in the Talos Plaza district and will probably fix the doors in the process. Plus, its a great mod!

I know this topic is 9 years old but I was having the same problem and I figured out it was the Better Daedric Shrines mod, specifically Vaermina's. I realised it when I saw that the save I made in the broken Talos District said it was saved in Quagmire.
