I don't quite understand what phase you are at in your game. Are you saying that you went into the Oblivion gate and grabbed the Sigil Stone?

If your game is functioning properly, when you activate the Sigil Stone, there will be a lot of noise and light and the Oblivion gate will close and you will find yourself standing in front of Kvatch. You should then go back to Savlian Matius to find out what to do next.

If you've grabbed the stone and the gate won't close, try the console command "closecurrentobliviongate" to close the gate you are currently in.

How - move directly up to the sigil stone until you get the grab icon in place of the cross hair on it. (closed hand) hit the space bar. If it works - you get fireworks. :thumbsup:

Using the console to complete quest stages can break the quest chain. Also, you will be repeating this action (closing an Oblivion gate by taking a Sigil Stone) many times during the game - so it's best to get it working properly.
