To the general Nexus Community: You used to be a pretty cool cat. Within the past year, you have transformed into one massive crybaby. If you don't get your way, you throw a s*** fit. I have done this, but thanks for taking your time to suggest something. Also I would like to note that the .ini files "do not" reset. I have looked at them after I have played and the changes seem to remain. It just seems that changing the ini file doesn't do anything for me. After you moved it, did you open up your Skyrim launcher and have it scan your GPU?

Indeed I would be! :3 Can any of it be salvaged and added? (Maybe it's content planned for a future DLC? Hmmm!)

Delete (or move) the .ini from your save folder and let Skyrim make a new one. Sometimes you need to reset it because it gets funky or something. :/

Have you installed any new mods since before you updated? If you are not using something like SkyBoost, I suggest that. Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your GPU, of course. You can also try resetting your .ini. Delete the one in your save games folder and open up the Skyrim Launcher. It will scan your card and make a new one. Then play the game and see if that helps.

If you saved afterwards, you may just have to load an older save and not run the .bat file. I think that .bat file reset your marriage...?

It should be automatic. If you can get alt-tab to work, while Skyrim is running do a ctrl-alt-delete (Windows) and click Task Manager. It will show how much memory is currently being used by your computer. If Skyrim is the only program running and it isn't using more than 1.5 or 2 Gb of memory, it's not working.

I give it a month before we have at least one complete overhaul mod that sets the standards for future overhauls...then another month before we combine all the overhaul mods into one ungodly mod.

I like the sound of my GPU fan. Some find it annoying - I find it comforting. Like, if I hear that sound, that means I'm at home having fun. I also like store-brand cola.

My oldest memory is when my dad brought home our new SNES with Super Mario World. Ah, good times...(I had about worn out Duck Hunt by then...) Most recently, opening my new PC last October... ...aaaaaaahhhh... :woot: I kept the box for a week. I don't know what it is - the plastic case, the metal, the styrofoam...or those thin pieces of clear covering they put over the shiny parts. I think this was brought up before. A while back, actually. The best way to avoid any ink is to...not post there. Don't want to bother with fine print? Post elsewhere. Honestly, I think Dark0ne it right. Valve/Steam/whoever would probably offer the modder a contract of sorts. If the modder agrees, then it becomes a DLC. If the modder declines, they are free to either keep the course or remove their mod. They cannot really prevent anyone from posting the mod anywhere along with the SW. In all realistic sense, someone who has made a really great mod would more likely than not want it on more than one site so that A. More people have access to it, and B. In case of a site shutting down it will still be available. All sites come with contracts. In actuality, most game development sites that allow you to post mods for their games onto their servers have similar ones.

It's one of those magical "NPC only" outfits. Any mod that lets you wear unflagged armor/clothing will let you wear it. BE WARNED - that specific armor will only work properly on a male character, I believe.

Guards can't be intimidated. Come on - if they can take an arrow in the knee, they can take you. :facepalm: Sorry, couldn't resist. Haven't been able to intimidate them...ever. Still fun to try, though.

Hehe, I freaked out when I saw them the first time as well. :thumbsup: That is completely normal. If textures were not showing up, they would be all purple. If they were just wireframes, they would a LOT different - you would know there was a problem. But no, that guy is normal. :)

DAT PREVIEW. :D You know, besides all the stuff with it being delayed, I'm glad that they gave us a look at what we'll be getting. I must say, the Creation Kit looks...tidier than the Construction Sets were. I hope to got that they have added the option to select all->add hair and eye options to races. Dragging each eye from Elaborate Eyes in Oblivion practically made me die from old age. T_T HOPEFULLY, one of the reasons why it is being delayed is because they are adding as much information to the wiki as possible. Especially since they are using a brand new type of scripting for it, I don't want to be left floating with no life jacket. :ohdear: The last wiki was really easy to read and helpful - hope this one is the same. BUT, the one thing in the vid that made me the most spastic...DAT SCENE EDITOR. :dance: QUESTS! GLORIOUS QUESTS AND CUT SCENES! Wait...I need to write a script! Quick - SOMEONE HAND ME A PENCIL!!!! Come on now, everyone. We all KNOW what will happen to Nexus when the CK comes out... ...the servers will inevitably crash for a 24 hour period after it's release due to the overflow of mod uploads hitting them. This down time, of course, will be perfect for going outside and enjoying the sunshine. When we return, we will no doubt have some form of FCOM Does Skyrim in the top mods listings...

OOOOOOOH! :D - Luxwing Edge - "Lightning forged into the shape of a blade. He who swings this sword leaves the sound of thunder in his wake." (If I may pick a particular forge material, it would be Quicksilver. :3 ) 2handed broadsword - possibly oversized SHOCK DAMAGE! :D (And stamina drain...?) If you decide to make this blade, just have fun with the design. It would be cool to see what you come up with. ^_^
