PShepa
Trying to setup Oblivion to run on my win 7 64 bit system. Because my D: drive is bigger, I used the prescribed method of moving my "Mydocuments" folder to from C: to D:. I did this sometime ago. Now, when I load obse_launcher and try to use it, I get "Directory C:\Users\....\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\ does not exist!". Of course, it doesn't. How do I get obse launcher to recognize where the new folder is? Thanks.
Caithe
replace that folder, win. I see no reason why to move this particular folder. It contain the ini files required by the game and your saves.
bben46
I can see a reason to move that folder. If you are using a SSD as your boot device it could cause a space problem, and also by making a lot of changes to the SSD reduce the life expectancy. I haven't researched this so I really don't have a solution. But if your C:\ does have the room the simple solution is to allow the saves & ini folder to be stored there. My first guess is that when the game was installed it set an entry - or maybe more than one in the Windows Registry telling it where to look for those files. And those registry entries may need to be edited if you put them somewhere else.

Is there anyone who could give some step by step process to do this? Thanks for the reply.
