SigmaZelto
This is potentially a stupid question but my google-fu is quite weak: So I make this badass greatsword mesh and actually get it into the game, and it works great, save for one detail, it's purple. The whole mesh is a lovely shade of purple, which would be fine, but I made a UV map in blender and everything and I'd like to see it implemented, its just I have no idea what to do. As stated before, I don't even know what to type into google to get the answer I'm looking for and you all seem like a nice bunch, so I ask that you forgive this newcomer just this once and offer some advice? Lanceor
I'm no expert in exporting meshes (in fact I have no idea how), but a missing texture could mean a wrong texture path. If you haven't got NifSkope yet, download a copy to inspect your meshes (it's free and extremely useful). Check that the texture path is something like "textures\weapons\DaedricClaymore.dds" and not "C:Program Files etc etc"
wetblanket
Additionally, open a similar vanilla weapon in a separate instance of NifSkope and compare the two. I'm pretty sure new meshes require some work in NifSkope before they are fully game-ready and this way you can see what is missing/different. edit. There is a Blender forum here on Nexus which would be of help I'm sure - someone is bound to have already asked, and had answered, a similar question.
