grunyon
Hey guys, I need to edit the Battlehorn Castle Enhanced addon... which is an addon to enhance the official DLC. I noticed that some of the platforms the author added need to be "fall"en, and that the doors for the north and south towers are all mixed up. I would very much like to fix these issues and I had some light modding experience in Morrowind so I feel confident enough to do so. However, I am slightly rusty and need some help. When I open the construction set, do I just open Battlehorn Enhanced and let it pick up on dependancies? Or do I need to select Oblivion, Battlehorn Castle, and Battlehorn Enhanced? Also, when I save it... does it replace Battlehorn Enhanced? For example.... would I load Battlehorn Castle, and Battlehorn Enhanced, and then Battlehorn Enhanced Fix? Or just Battlehorn Castle and Battlehorn Fix? I have tried all combinations I can think of and my changes aren't sticking. Help!
Hickory
It would be best to select each file, just in case the mod has not set the masters -- it happens. Depending on what you want to do, you can either edit the enhanced edition directly (for your own use), or better still use the CS Extender (which sets master files correctly and automatically) and load Oblivion.esm, Battlehorn Castle.esp, the enhanced.esp without setting any as active (ignore the warnings). When you have finished, press 'Save' and choose 'Esp' and create your own 'fix.esp'. Remember that your changes will not stick if the plugins are loading in the wrong order. Use BOSS to sort your mod list.
