Rosewind
Ah yes the "Space Ship" you get in the final DLC of Fallout 3 that was put in massive disrepair by the fight and is probably sitting in a decaying orbit not to mention all the controls are in an alien language. We have dismissed these claims. cookie if you can name the meme. Yes but you can still teleport back and forth to it and I am assuming their is more then one of those teleport beacons you could easily place them around the world since the ship is in "decaying orbit" as you put it. And you are forgetting they placed one down before I am sure after 4 years of studying Sally would be able to have a basic run of the ship (probably wouldn't even take her that long). Ah "We have dismissed these claims", you are assuming I have played Mass Effect and I read the Bioware forums. Does that mean I get a cookie? Only thing I know of that has that as a meme. ModelV
No I just really felt like using that meme. In 4 years its much more likely that Sally is going to press a button that shots off oxygen or makes it crash into the planet. 4 years is not enough time to understand technology hundreds if not thousands of years into the future Sally only has such knowledge because she has spent the last 200 years on that ship. That could happen yes but this is why this game is called a role playing game, we are the ones who are meant to fill in the blanks. It hasn't been stated (as far as I am aware) that it is impossible for the Courier to be the LW. Till that day Bethesda says other wise I am sure there are a lot of people out there who role play there courier that way, I know I do. Just because some people imagine in their little fallout universe it is impossible doesn't mean how some one else role-plays their courier is wrong, these are RPG games we play them how we like. minngarm
Yea its possible to have figured out basic controls, they did figure out how to operate the teleport array on a regular basis, as well as shields and weaponry. Would not put it past them to figure out basic flight controls, especially with pre-war flight era people on board. I would have to say though that I dont see a reason why the LW would leave the east coast to come west and work as a delivery boy/girl. Course using a variant of the space ship theory, it could easily be Sally or another one of the crew from MZ that went on to be the courier, either by teleportation or surviving the crash landing. ModelV
Well the reason I dont see the lone wanderer being the Courier is because hes called The Courier and not The Lone wanderer. Besides the timeline doesnt make any sense. The Courier broke open the earth at the Divide in 2077 before the battle of Hoover Dam and before the lonewanderer had left the Vault and we know the Courier was working as a Courier for at least 1 year before that running items around California. The battle of hoover dam was happening during the war between the Enclave and the BoS which the lonewanderer had a hand in. marharth
Why would the lone wanderer go from being a super important person that could probably do whatever they wanted to a measly courier in the desert?
