Magatsu
Which weapon has the best enchantment points? is it Ebony staff or is there better? I were also wondering about Bows, i havent used bows even once in the game and i would like to try is it worth it? Is the bow damage and arrow damage 2 diffrent damages combined? If a bow has damage endurance 10points. Does each hit reduce endurance until they have 0 (stacking)? and does arrows have good enchantment points so its possible to craft powerfull arrows? And where to find daedric long bow? Blackmage
not sure about the enchantments Ranged weapons are awsesome... think about it, pop a few arrows into the enemy while they're running at you. Good times. Anyway, there is some daedric shrine out there in... west gash region? i think? And you have to levitate to get a daedric bow, it would probably be better to look this up on a search engine. But if you have the fletcher plugin that bethesda made, you can buy one at the fletcher. Magatsu
Well i think it would be a good idea to craft 2 bows. 1 bow with burden/paralyzeThen one for damage as the victims stand there helpless, but i guess this is tought of a thousand times. I`ll guess ill start a new character then and try bows for once. How much enchantment points does a D. long bow have?
Peregrine
If a bow has damage endurance 10points. Does each hit reduce endurance until they have 0 (stacking)? NO. Damage and effects enchanted on a bow do NOT apply to the arrows. So only constant effect/cast when used effects do anything, and only when cast as spells. A cast on striking enchantment on a bow does absolutely nothing. Only damage/effects enchated on the arrow will affect the target. and does arrows have good enchantment points so its possible to craft powerfull arrows? Arrows can not be enchanted at all. DragoonFurey
While arrows cant be enchanted Silver Arrows and Daedric Arrows are treated as enchanted arrows for the purpose of hitting enimes that are imune to normal weapons.
Magatsu
Daedric arrows are so rare, can arrows be picked up after killing or do they disappear? And if i get this right: Bows effect must be cast and dont work with arrows, arrows can not be enchanted. So bows can not do ANY damage exept for the bows normal damage? Noone of you guys(or girls) that know the Enchant value of D.longbow? And by the way, what is the best damage a bow can do? Just want to know these things before i start over again... :)

So bows can not do ANY damage exept for the bows normal damage?Exactly. But remember, you can find enchanted arrows, you just can't make them yourself. So put a useful CE/cast when used enchantment on it, something like fortify skill/etc.
dynamo
I tried using a bow, the only problem is finding someone who will actually train your marksman ability. then again what would i know, i havent really got all that far... Advice?
Dagger of Symachus
Ok, let's see here. The "secret" master of the marksman skill is, oh where's the fun in telling you that! Look around for a dunmer in the stronghold to the east of Koghun (forgot the name). A daedric longbow has ten enchant points. Do not use them to make cast on strike effects as they will have no effect. Use them to make cast when used or constant effect enchantments. But I think the best way to use a bow is to take a exquisite item and give it constant effect bound longbow (about 4000 gold on my game). You will have a bound longbow that has a constant effect enchantment that has fortify marksman 10 points on self. It has the same attack power as a daedric bow and the only disadvantage to this is that it only has 850 armor points when a real daedric bow has 1000. If you are looking for good enchanted arrows with next to an unlimited supply do the Golena Sadri quest in Godsreach, Mournhold. At the end, you get 50 poisonbloom arrows. But recheck the body and you'll see she has 50 more. Do this repeatedly and than recall out of there. (Note:you can also get a nice suit of glass armor and a daedric longbow from killing Golena at the end of this quest too).I think I had about 12000 of the second best arrows in the game. Hope this helps with your marksman issue.
Limorkil
I think the bonemold bow has a lot more enchantment points than any other bow. It's either 40 or 70, I can't remember, but it is more than most weapons.
