Stormcrown
I was building a computer, then I saw newegg offer a "combo" pack. Where you buy a pre-picked combination of parts and get a huge discount. Here is the one I'd HIGHLY recommend. Link to the combo pack You end up saving $100 in combo discounts. Extremely large (Will fit anything you throw in it) HAF X case. (Beware if you dont want a big heavy case)SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6950, 1GB 256-bit GDDR5. Can be crossfired.Cooler Master Silent Pro 850W Power Supply, Modular (Meaning you can take cables out to save space inside of your computer)AMD Phenom II Quad Core 965 Black Edition Deneb. 3.4GHz. He wont overclock it anyway, no need to get sandy bridge.OCZ Agility 2, 2.5" 60GB Internal Solid State Drive - You install your operating system on this and it will be FAST.8GB (2 x 4GB sticks) of gaming-style RAM.500GB Internal Hard Drive, you could purchase another 1TB for like $50.Cooler Master Hyper 212; CPU Cooler for your processor. I'd recommend buying ANOTHER 120mm fan to maximize this product. Edited October 3, 2011 by Stormcrown
