laptop GPUs

Recommended Posts

like a lot of other ppl, i want to make sure my computer can play SWTOR. i will be building a PC in the future that will be a gaming PC, but that might not be till next summer, who knows. until then im on my latop. its an Asus G51v "gaming laptop" ive read the recommended settings on the SWTOR page, but idk how those numbers corrolate to laptop settings. specifically the GPU. says nVidia 7800 or higher. my laptop has a 260m. now from what i can gather that should be enough, since the 7800 is a 7th generation, and the 200 series is 10th generation.

other specs include an Intel Core Duo @2GHz. 4 gig ddr3 RAM. Windows 7 64bit. im sure these meet the requirements, just really checking on the graphics card as i dont know how agood a laptop graphics card is in relation to desktop GPUs.

i was gunna wait till i build my PC. and i still might, but if i cant, and i give in, i wanna make sure i can at least play it until i get my PC.

the laptop can handle WoW fine, and other games like DAO and SC2. (talking normal settings of course)
