You really need a PSU.

<snip>

It comes with 600w coolermaster

I have tip for monitor: If you have good tv with hdmi, use it as monitor. Just buy hdmi-cable and tv-table with wheels, if you need to move tv around a bit. Easiest is to put computertable 90 degrees from sofa (or wherever u watch tv from) and just turn tv 90 dgerees to use it as monitor. i myself have 32" full hd tv as monitor and it's just great. :biggrin: Way to safe money!

Ah, that is a good idea, I have a 22" tv I can use for that but its only HD ready :confused:

Hi,

a 600W psu is okay for it. The 22" tv is "okay", but full hd is better ;). Btw, if you want to search yourself for good components i would suggest you to use http://skinflint.co.uk. It is a nice search engine to find shops where the components are a little bit cheaper :)

Yeah i'd like to be able to admire the graphics of the games i'm planning on playing, so i'll get full HD once i can afford one, but for now I think i'll stick with the 22".

I absolutely agree with hector.

Switch to a 2500k, which would mean getting a 1155 LGA motherboard.

EVGA is the best brand for nVidia cards as well.

I could recommend some AMD and ATI CPU's/Motherboards/GFX cards as well.

1155 is the socket type. your motheboard needs to be this socket type to be able to use the new sandy bridge CPUs such as the i5-2500k they were mentioning.

Yes. LGA <Insert Number Here>, is the type of socket. LGA <Insert Number Here> is Intel, and AMD uses the system AM2, AM3, and AM3+ (Which means compatibility with the new CPU's that AMD is releasing)

I was speaking of getting the LGA 1155 because they are cheaper than 1366.
