A realistic look

Hello, i have been a avid down-loader of many mods on the nexus and i can't help but feel that no-one is really making mods that fit into a post apocalyptic feel. When i see a mod that adds a suit which is 40 tons of molten steel and a mini-gun 4 times the size of you or a bikini i can't help but think why? so my plea to you is to make an armor that looks like you are in a post apocalyptic world, sandstorms are around there's radioactive rain and people want to kill you.

 

I'm thinking of :

Body. A merc grunt (because its so basic) then add some sort of combat vest and some knee and elbow pads, a bit of wear and tear, then some kind of a duster or a ghille suit idea. some heavy duty boots, some steel on the end of them, and then either a backpack or like a survival bag on your waist, a holster on your thigh. and also lots of weapons on your person, like boot knifes and swords in your coat guns in your underwear(not litteraly) sort of thing.

 

headgear: for the head im thinking your in a destert so maximum protection from a sandstorm, a neckerchief that can be pulled up (not an animation but you get the idea)(like in western movies) then some sort of a hood.maybe googles or sunglasses for the sun.

 

weapon: now im thinking of a desert coulerd hunting rifle with obvioss attemts at repiaring it, then a bit of ghille coverings on it, also if this is your rifle then your going to have to repair it and to do that you'd need to take it aprt so some scractch marks on the gun(im getting to technical,sorry). also a pistol or small atomatic rifle for close encouters with the same sort of look as the rifle.

 

i know that the Wasteland Seeker Armour came close to encapsulating the post apocalyptic feel of what i'm talking about, but the lack of a survival element to the gear is what i'm thinking, more attention to what weed need to survive in a world where people and animals hunt you down and your a courier, you're going to take everything with you.
