I believe their rights should be equal. Sentience on that level would deserve a fair exchange of equality. But that's just my arrogant opinion. :)

 

Babies and adults or AI and human? :ermm:

We are talking about the fully developed version of each species.

Keanumoreira said that their rights should be equal, but he didn't refer to anything. Did he refer to what the topic suggests or did he refer to our more recent discussion about babies. I just wanted to know which, thats all.

My apologies, I was being vague. I meant the AI.

AI.. is created. Has been for quite a while. What we truly mean is.. advanced AI, and sentient AI. If such properties were met, there's no reason not to grant them "equal rights" (whatever that means, because there are still a lot of humans on this planet with violated "rights") To not do so would just be a pretend-superiority bias, given that they are sentient.
