Vortaka
Hi everybody! I've returned to Oblivion (Skyrim soon) and one thing that annoyed me was the "You have my ear, citizen", or any other crap the guards said when I didn't want to talk to them! You know, I was just passing by and they have the nerve to talk to me! Well, not anymore! (Or less anyway) The variable, found in the CS, settings, is fAIMinGreetingDistance (set originally at 150). If you don't want to hear them, put it at 5! They won't even talk! (Well, unless you talk to them of course!)If you want them to talk when close (aka nearly touching them or touching them), but it at 50 Anyway, that's my tests... 50 is ok for me! If I want to hear them, I just go close then it becomes personal! (Hehehe). If not, I don't hear them! Finally, quiet! (Well, if you're unlike me cause I have Cyradiil Sounds!!!) Vortaka
So if I put it at 10,000 will every npc try to greet me at once? Well, technically, yes... But... Crashes may happen then!!! I mean, lower is ok! Tried it, works fine! (Mine's at 150)Higher... Well, let's just say that they will say their greetings like even if you're not near them (not even close!)! So, like 10,000, everybody in the "cell" should great you at once... (If practical is technical!!! Haven't over tested it, since, I don't really need to! Why would anybody?)
