belegduwin
Hmm, if I remember correctly, the fence was to contain the blight, not Dagoth Ur. He chose to remain there near the source of power, the heart.
samroski
They liked the idea of the ghost fence so much that in Oblivion they decided to fence in all the cities. Maybe all the cities in Oblivion are blighted- and only after 3000 hours of gameplay will this twist in the tale unfold. Also with ninja(lord)s levitating over the ghost fence they decided to leave out levitation and to put clip brushes over the walls (as ninjas are also rumored to jump high - and have been allegedly seen running up walls)
Iapetus
Y'AI NG'NGAHYOGH-SOTHOTHH'EE-L'GEBF'AI THRODOGUAAAH Dagoth Ur is too busy getting hopped up on godhood to really bother with mucking about with the rest of the island, and every two-penny wizard with access to levitate is more concerned with being rude to foreigners. ninja_lord666
...and every two-penny wizard with access to levitate is more concerned with being rude to foreigners.;D Good one!and only after 3000 hours of gameplay will this twist in the tale unfold.Hmm, with my current character, I have about 140 hours of gameplay, so that means I only have 2860 hours to go...I'm sure that won't take long. I'll post tomorrow if it's really true! :D
DecalMirror
It's kinda weird that the sneaking feature is only handled through statistics, not visually. You can be in mid-dark room full of evil NPCs and these won't see you hopping around their noses, if you have high enough sneak skill. And in the same situation you can whack and slice them with sneak attack with blade, but hell if you shoot one in group miles away, they always know exactly where you are. Not only that's weird but also extremely annoying.
arcane93
You know what is wierd to me . On one loading screen it says that the Sanctury in Cheidynhall is one of the many safe heavens of the Dark Brotherhood but there are no more DB hideouts and thats just stupid :O

But then if you go sneaking up to a bandit holding a torch, the light from that torch may be enough for them to see you. Also, it's possible to shoot someone without being seen, chameleon helps with that.

martine94
In the imperial city i've found a basement (not the two that involves the dark brotherhood) that has blood in it. But the owner seems like a normal NPCs. Also that people in oblivion has no needs for sexual stimulation :P

If you have 100% Chameleon or cast a invilibity spell while the Arrow you shot is on its way, the Bandits will run up to the exact position from where the Arrow came. If you are still invisible, they will stand there saying something like "He was here a second ago" or "she". They even know your Gender o_O
