Iv000
You have to remove the numbers at the end of the .rar file.Let's say you downloaded NMC's texture pack, it has 2 parts. They are named like this: "NMC_Texturepack_Part1-56248" "NMC_Texturepack_Part2-56249" (Not their actual names)You have to remove the minus (-) and the numbers. Right click on one, and click rename. Then it should look like this:"NMC_Texturepack_Part1" "NMC_Texturepack_Part2"Then right click on the first one and extract it. It should extract the first one and then the second one in one folder. If not, then extract each one separately, and copy the contents of the second folder "NMC_Texturepack_part2" to the first folder "NMC_Texturepack_Part1".Then follow the installation instructions from the read me. Harvald
Don't remove the numbers at the end at all! If you can't do it manually, by extracting the ...7z.001, ...7z.002,(and so on) -file or a rar.001, ....rar.002 -file, by running the ....batin ...001, take a splitting/joining software. Another advance of this software is, that the downloaded files are not destroyed. In case the partiation is only in the file name, you should enpac the arcives to a seperate folder and check the structure first: (mainfolder) data (SUBfolders) meshes, textures, sound, etc. (files) bsa, esm, esp and then copy to your oblivion folder. Lots of fun on tesnexus Harvald  Edited October 4, 2011 by Harvald
Iv000
Don't remove the numbers at the end at all! The Nexus renames every file with a special ID.If you upload a mod "Mod1" the Nexus will rename it to "Mod1-563248". Your method works only for files that have been split with special software, and I haven't seen this method being used on any of the Nexus sites. Have fun Harvald Edited October 6, 2011 by Harvald
