Impossible to finish 'Buying Waterfront Shack' Quest?

(Pardon me. Although I'm not so 'new' here, but I'm still newbie in this forum)

I bought 'My Imperial House'(you know, that shack), however, Sergius didn't show up that day. I proceeded other quest, hoping he would come at the next day. The next day, he was there, but there were no upgrades in his inventory. Gosh.. I tried console command to add them, but you cannot upgrade your house with that. So it seems to be impossible to finish 'Buying house in Imperial City', but is there any solution for this?

Try using console to change the quest stages, I believe the scripting looks to see if you have the items, and a stage has been met before showing any change to the shack. As usual, check your quest log to see if you missed anything, check the house to make sure it hasn't already been done, and if all else fails, use an earlier save (or ignore the house, it sucks anyway, there are plenty of better ones in the IC for download)

Theres your problem, conflicting mods. Try only using 1 of the mods that edits the shack, as having both will probably conflict with the quest.

Actually, I've never seen such problem till now with these house mods. (Note: 'Free Waterfront Shack' is just adding a free shack at Waterfront, it doesn't replace your IC shack)

 

**Although I'm not surprise if Sergius doesn't show up the other day(you know, he sometimes doesn't show up), but it seems I was unlucky. -_-

 

**Well, maybe I'll consider uncheck some of house mods. It won't affect my gameplay since I don't store my stuffs there usually.

 

**The 'Deluxe IC Shack' was the problem. It somehow prevents to finish 'Buying House' Quest. Since I didn't use it until last time I played(I often delete saves due to character MOD or by accident..).
