Werne
For a month now I play my game without adding any mods and it was perfect, no crashes, not a problem with it. Today I couldn't start the game. I tried loading my save and all I got was a CTD, then I tried starting a new game and it works fine untill I came to the vault door that lead to the capital wasteland and the game crashed again and again and again. I tried disabling all mods and it didn't work. And when I finally thought about giving up I decided to give it a last try and I disabled the ArchiveInvalidation. It worked, but now I have a problem with textures. And I can't activate the ArchiveInvalidation because my game starts crashing again. Does anyone know what could be the problem? iFSS
That sounds like one of the meshes for a mod you have installed is borked. Likely candidates, if right outside 101, are any that add/replace trees or change other stuff in the wasteland. You'll need to remove the files manually to test, or start from a fresh install. Werne
@iFSS no, the mods I use don't edit anything near 101. Also I found out that any change to fallout.ini causes my game to crash.
iFSS
Beyond starting with a fresh ini in case there's a typo or similar in the current one, or using the console commands to adjust the ini file in-game (setini, getini, saveini, refini), I have no idea. Best of luck.
Werne
@iFSS I found the problem. It seems the problem was that the .ini file was corrupted. However when I removed it and started a new game I still had the same problem. Luckily I saved the .ini file on my flash drive when I first installed the game so I replaced the problematic one with the one from the flash drive and it worked. Thanks for the help.
