I also have several other custom races including Mystic Elves, Tabaxi, and Dremora, and I have two custom race fixes including the original Custom Race Fix and Boethia's Shrine Custom Race Fix. All the races trigger the prisoner at the beginning except the Cute Elves. Am I missing a specific race fix for the Cute Elves, or do the Cute Elves just not work? I de-activated both mods, then only activated the KT Custom Race Fix and it still won't work. e_e I hate messing with things. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Striker879 Posted October 6, 2011 Share Posted October 6, 2011 To get a new game to start all you need is the Unofficial Oblivion Patch. What happens with a custom race is the prisoner in the cell across from you is scripted to use dialog specific to the race of your character. With a custom race the script can't figure out what to do. The UOP fixes this along with a myriad of other problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I could have sworn I had dialogue from the prisoner as a cute elf starting out, but I just tried it and I don't either this time around.
