Deleted2993601User
Say I have created a sword in the Construction Set. Say I want to place said sword in a container so that I can pick it up in game. How do I go about doing this? I do not want to add it through the use of "player.additem", I want to place the weapon in a vanilla oblivion container so that I then can pick it up later in game. WastelandAssassin
well, that shouldn't be too hard, but you need to choose the right container, otherwise this will cause problemswhat i mean is that you need to choose a unique container, otherwise each container that uses the ID you chose will have the sword (which believe me, you don't want) what you need to do, is open the WorldObjects bar in the CS, choose Container, and select the container you want to add the weapon toright click on said container, and choose Editthen go to find the weapon you made, under the Items -> Weapons tabjust drag and drop your weapon into the container window you opened, save, and you are done easy as pie, right??hope this works and helps you
Deleted2993601User
i think I got it covered now. How do I choose where this container is to be placed?
spiritshadowx
Find a container in the containers window that suits what you want.Rename it, and when it prompts for a new object select yes.right click and edit it like WastelandAssassin said, and drop it in there. Also select weather you want it to respawn or not (if yes, it will remove everything in the container and replace it with what you put in the container within construction set, every couple of in-game weeks).Choose a place to put the container. Make sure you don't edit a container already present, as that can cause problems. Unless you want it being sold in stores. Deleted2993601User
How do I edit sounds for the custom containers? I hardly have any sound options and if I click one, TESCS crashes. I tried extracing the vanilla oblivion sounds from the .bsa archive and place everything in the sounds folder, but Construction Set still can't seem to find these sounds when I click the "Select TESSound" button. What do I have to do in order for TESCS to find these sounds so that I may select them?

By default, the container you rename will have the container sounds unless you clicked on the sound options within the container's settings. I'll open my CS and see if i can find a way for you. EDIT: You should be able to see in the container settings 'Open sound' and 'Close sound', if you click on the button near them, it will give you a list of current contaner sounds. For custom sounds, remember the procedure above. Navigate the objects window to Miscellaneous > Sounds, then right click and select new. Give it an appropriate name you can find, and then add the sound you want (make sure you put the sound file within Oblivion's 'Data > sound' folder). Deleted2993601User
I didn't rename any container, I created my own. I still don't know how I go about placing a container at a set location. Any help is very appreciated :)

Any help is very appreciated :) Oh okay lol, ignore what i said. In the container options it says 'Select TESsound', just find what sound you'd like (e.g. press 'DRSbar' on your keyboard and it will jump to barrel close and open sounds). After you've done that, it's time for the barrel placement. If you want tell me roughly where you want it located and i can give you step by step how to place it. Where the big statue is located? Somewhere around that area.

Where the big statue is located? Somewhere around that area. 1. In 'Cell View' window, select 'ICMarketDistrict' from the drop-down.2. Find ICMarketDistrict04 cell3. Double click on the cell to view it in the Render Window.4. Click the Render Window border (to focus on the window) and use SPACE to pan the camera. and shift to rotate the camera.5. Float above the area you want, and drag and drop your container from the 'Object Window' to 'Render Window', it will then magically appear within the window.6. Position it roughly how you want it in the air (left click moves, right click rotates, the keys Z, X and C provide other options, play around with it).7. Once you got it where you want, press F to drop the container until it reaches the ground automatically.8. Make the final touches and then save it to your ESP.9. Activate your ESP and view it in game to see if it works. Then BOOM BABY you're done!
