Ok so I Start the game with putting my charisma to 1 and strengh to 10 and perception to 9 then use intence training and get it up to 10 but now that I have all dlc's I'm nearly level 35 and I have the same peek options that I don't use.

Now I want to change but still keep my strength and perception high but with out taking away my charisma, I want to keep my guns, sneak, survival, and medicine very high not to mention barter, speech and lock pick but I also want more

I know that there is perks and implants with dlc and no dlc so with them can you tell me a good start using the stuff I still want but be able to get more? And I mean long term so by level 40-50 I have my good character

Well it sounds like your looking for a bit overpowered character, thats fine, I would suggest starting out with your luck maxed, take the skilled perk, and another perk of your choosing of course. Get Educated, and i think Comprehension(the one that increases the points given by books and magazines.) as soon as they become available. This will cover giving you high skill levels from the start in all your skills.

Then you can simply use intense training to increase str and per as you wish.

Well consider a score of 5 is the average score of a perfectly healthy and moderately educated adult. So like youll see on the vit-o-matic(sp) as you raise a skill you go beyond the human norm into the super human. Infact I dont think there are any NPCs in the game with even a single stat above an 8 let alone at 10.

Now if you want to try a real "player" skill oriented game, try balancing it out by only adding one point to any given attribute scores of 5-6 all around as doc says "Well, thats about average." gives you just a little bit of an edge in the attributes you prefer personally, but not so much so that your steam rolling over everything.

Unless of course you plan to fight Deathclaws in hand to hand, then by all means go up to 7 in str and end.

Steam roll? I dont think you can overpower your stats and "average" is completely and utterly average not "perfectly health" or "educated". You cannot make an overpowered creater using special its perfectly balanced for the game no matter what you put in.

S5(7)

P4(+1)

E9(10)

C1

I6(7)

A8(9)(+10)

L8(10)

(+# is bonuses from walker instinct)

Perfectly balanced!

Anyway your max starting stats should be 9 and you shouldnt raise something with intense training higher then that amount either assuming you have enough endurance to get the implants you want. You can play around with this template instead of popping in and playing around with it.

s5

p5

e5

c5

i5

a5

l5

extra: 5

Throughout the game you will be able to boost your stat points by 1 point each with endurance 7 and you get 1 more point inside LR. You can also boost many stats with Traits. Always leave room for these extra points.

As for skills i cannot help you. I get enough skills already for everything i need and im not even level 30 yet.

You know that there is no major advantage in maxing out specials.

Take 9 points in EN to get all implants and start with 5 points everywhere but 6 points in AG if you want the Slayer perk.

IN is less important than most people think especially since the level cap is much higher now.

CH is useless unless you want CH related perks.

LK is fine if you want to bust the casinos but you can get by without maxing it out.

Anyway specials don't matter as much as one may think. Make sure you can reach 6 points in PE and LK if you want the Better Criticals perk.

FYI AG only increases some skills and AP (useless if you don't use VATS much) actual speed is not modified by AG (contrary to what is said in game).

The main reason to put points in ST is to increase melee and unarmed damage otherwise you only get some extra pounds in carrying weight.

Agility also increases reload speed. Useful. And Luck gives critical hit chance boosts. Useful. Thats why i boost those stats and have high endurance to get perks though i could lower it its nice to be called bulletproof :) Never said mine was perfect just said it was balanced.

I doubt AG has much of an impact on reloading speed. I know it says so in the game but playing with a higher AG doesn't seem to affect this in any way so I never increase it beyond 7 (for the Slayer perk).

Also LK is useful in the casinos and as a bonus to critical chance but it's not vital (no stat ever is in this game). I no longer put too many points in LK because it tends to make visiting casinos too cheesy.

Anyway it's more a question of playing style rather than anything else. As long as you can get the perks you want (and most perks are available with less than 7 points in a SPECIAL) you don't have to worry.
