NaomeShade
Greetings! I want to consolidate two cloth plugins into one for my own use. What I mean is each of them - the cloak (Traveller's Cloaks) and the belt (Utility Belt) - requires the tail slot, so it's impossible to put them both on at the same time. Is there a way to make one mod of two clothings using one slot but both present? Edited October 10, 2011 by NaomeShade
proutos
Hi, to equip both clothes in the same time you have two possibilities. First you can combine the two into one with NifSkope, by copying and pasting the NiTriStrip(s) of one Nif file to the Root of the other. Then create a new clothing in the CS with this file. You will though with this method not be able to unequip only the Cloack or the Belt in game. The other method is to create a clothing in the CS (with one of the Nif file) that you will put on another slot than Tail, as Right Ring or Amulet. I don't know if it will work in your case, because some combinations, like an Helmet on Amulet for example, doesn't work. The Helmet doesn't appear. It depends, i think, of the properties of the Nif file, but i don't really know how, and can not help you this way. NaomeShade
Thanks a lot! I should have known to change the slots. It's so easy. I was so confused with nif scope, I actually managed to combine one mesh with another, but have no idea how to bind them with textures!
proutos
Good that you made it. For the first method, you don't have to worry about the dds. They are still linked to the NiTriStrips when you paste them, so you don't have to bind textures.
