theuseless
google "top oblivion quests link" for the toql. That will get you the quests. Also filter your searches or category browsing to most downloaded (or most endorsements). You can also check out the top rated on tesnexus and the hall of fame on planetelderscrolls.com Check out my castle if you like dark, evil creepy lairs:Castle Tharnstein For other armors (my castle adds over 200 pieces of my personal favorite armor and weapons): Bob's ArmoryArmamentariumApophosis, armory of the silver dragon For spells, I don't think anything is as large or comprehensive as Midas Magic. In fact, all mods listed by Fonger are rad. I think that Nighteye Goggles requires OBSE, but this is simple to install and use. Also check out Common Oblivion (COBL) Talking in red seems like you are yelling. Kind of like caps lock. Matth85
Whatever float your boat.Stay away from anti-lore mods, they get on my nerves. Hm.. yeah. That's my opinion though. If I see a dragon flying around, or a Diablo II model ( Tyrael), I wouldn't use it. Mostly because it does not fit in.I'd also not use Midas Magick. Even though it is an amazing piece of scripting, it's mostly overpowered and ani-lore ( Nuke). It really does not fit in either. Otherwise I'd go for the body replacers, some neat armor/weapons and a few quests. Cheers,Matth
Harvald
The fun is, that you can do everything. You personalize your game by taking your favourite mods. no other one has the same game. Have a look at the current or all time hot 100 files to make your first decision. my suggests Unique Landscapes are great and nearly a musthave additional fine is OBGE http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30054 If you want the same game more difficult to play Oblivion War Cry - New Dimension is a very good choice. For a better control panel http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10763and better map markers http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26389 now first my suggest for a new body As a Body mod I would prefer a HGEC body nude (female), (male) because tons of clothing are based on this mod. a good sekeleton for most of the clothing mods is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27945 and a nice skin texture http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19021 perhaps with this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22870 hairstyeles and races find yourself. then you probably need a animation replacer http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35551 and now You have a fine person walking through Oblivion. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34199 for better athmosphere I suggest Better sound http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39804Basic Primary Needs http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37088bathing mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17190trade and commerce http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39255 for finding enough food perhaps http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1889or/and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14265 there are more clothing mods than I can tellmy personal choice female underwear Sluggo http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22090in clothing is roadstrokers work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1281817 slofs mens wear http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=6024hiatkkdfemale clothing Rhyks work http://www.zodiac.o0o0.jp/rayk/ryk_mod_etc.html all not to sexy like some things here. for weapons gizmodians work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=341209 for better Horses http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=5p5k6md28n8 my most liked housemod companionmods: Vilja , Saerilet , blade song Don't forget ;) have fun Harvald Edited October 17, 2011 by Harvald
metricjester
I really like mods that put in things that should have been there to begin with. Stuff like the House Map Markers and the Unofficial patches. Body Replacer mods tend to add some fun too. But if I were to recommend any mod at all it would have to be the UOP and UOMP and their supplementals. UOP: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296UOMP: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9969UOPS: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27710
