mrknowie
I'd really like a mod that made the food and drink you find in Skyrim relevant. Something akin to the vanilla New Vegas system would be fine... an option to make it a little more involved wouldn't be bad either. Could also combine this with the "disable fast travel" mod. Thanks! SilexXGames
i was testing and playing almost every Hunger, Thirst or Sleep mod in tes4. None of them was perfect. Most of them felt like there were not a part of the game. but ure right. A good integrated 'realistc Needs' mod would be wonderfull.
MoonlightWyvern
I agree, it could add some lovely elements to herbalism and alchemy that wasn't there before.
NorokDovahkiinDoSkyrim
Something that you may also want to look into for a hardcore mode is that you can only aim your arrow for so long until it starts to get shaky then eventually you withdraw on your pulled back bow string. Let me know if you need a larger explanation
PoofyPinkPillow
For awhile, I thought that adding a Hardcore Mode mostly involving food, drink, and sleep would be an amazing thing to have. Then I tried it in Oblivion. It simply took away from the fun of the game and added an element of stress. But perhaps it simply hasn't been done properly yet. RitualBlack
Something that you may also want to look into for a hardcore mode is that you can only aim your arrow for so long until it starts to get shaky then eventually you withdraw on your pulled back bow string. Let me know if you need a larger explanation Or maybe if you fail to release it after you arm gets really shaky you will accidentally release it at a slightly randomized time (within a few seconds so you can't rely on a set variable of release) if you fail to draw back your arrow and the arrow will shoot of with little accuracy, most likely missing your target  . Oh, and maybe you could allow for a "Whisker Biscuit" or similar device to be attached in order to make it easier to keep the arrow drawn  . I would also like to see a hardcore realism mod because I would like to have a need to go into a restaurant or bar, sit down and grab a bite to eat, or sit at home and make yourself a meal. I would also be fun to scavenge and hunt while exploring the wilderness.
Tilarium
Imps More Complex Needs, best FO:NV mod ever. Seeing something like that ported over for Skyrim would be amazing! If you don't know Imp's, check it out, it's really awesome.
mrknowie
Continuing the archery thought: I figure the best way to implement this would be to have drawing the bow and holding it take fatigue, and when the fatigue reaches a certain point, say 33 or 25%, you start to waver, more and more heavily as your fatigue falls. When fatigue reaches 10-0% (making it random around here would be great), you loose, wherever it's pointed. With too little fatigue, you wouldn't even be able to fully draw back a bow. I think that'd be the most realistic method of implementation. A "whisper biscuit" would be cool too, but it should improve accuracy, not affect the ability to draw and hold the bow. As for food, drink and sleep, Imp's was the basis for the "option to make it a little more involved" I mentioned in the OP. I think something more basic at first, as a proof of concept, might be comparatively easy.
FireBug3
THERE IS SOMETHING IMPORTANT I also do want food and stuff, B.U.T. it should be automatic, like you put candys in your bag and your char will eat them automatically from times to times, and wont get hungry this way, same goes for the water! Rydan
For awhile, I thought that adding a Hardcore Mode mostly involving food, drink, and sleep would be an amazing thing to have. Then I tried it in Oblivion. It simply took away from the fun of the game and added an element of stress. But perhaps it simply hasn't been done properly yet. I agree. I ended up disabling those mods and using just a simple sleep/camping mod and a journal mod for RP'ing.
