Jkat
Crash Bandicoot CTR has been one of my favorites for the longest, and has been one of the main reasons why I kept around my PS1, apart from nostalgia.

geekminxen
When my SO moved in, he brought a PS and PS2. Oddworld was my first sidescroller experience, and I loved it. We still have both console and game kicking around here somewhere. And I still ^%$# hate fleeches. ;)
SilverTaco
I remember the frustration and relief roller-coaster I've had with games like tomb raider, Wargods or with Lost World. My fave series has to be Syphon Filter 1-3, it's truly epic. There's also a mystique with the psx games, like all the regional games in japan or simply the ones who never made it out to a bigger market. Thank great Odin that there are emulators these days.
