AgentGrady
its nordic font all the way .. I dont think it looks modern .. its not pen and ink but its certainly a nordic fontIs it, really? I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. I'd find it much more Nordic if it looked a bit like this: http://www.sostars.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/nordic.jpg And maybe it looked like the letter were made of stone or something. I can hardly see how the in-game font fits in with the setting of an Elder Scrolls game.http://www.sostars.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/nordic.jpgYou have an interesting interpretation of Nordic

erikface
it is nordic but easy to read .. I have a nordic font on my PC right now so everything looks a lil like skyrim .. the only thing its missing is the pointed tips on the letters .. which would slow down your reading .. it certainly slows mine down when I'm reading folder names ever since I started using this font lolI can see how it would speed up my gameplay and make things easier and quicker to read. Sometimes I can be a stickler for having everything a certain way.
MoonlightWyvern
I think the font is just right. The font feels a little more serious. And besides, if it went into any more detail then it would distract from the beauty of the imagery and world around it, more so in menus like the skills menu. It might look a bit too cluttered if it was more detailed, especially as a more calligraphic font. And even a stone texture may be pushing it a little. MarshyMan
I rather like the font used in the menu screens, but i was slightly off put by the writing in the Dark Brotherhood letter (as shown in the 3 part gameplay narrated by Todd Howard). I thought it wasn't well layered or matched well with the paper behind it.

Technogran
It's not a huge deal, but I find the font used in-game is a little too modern. It bothers me a little that it doesn't have any kind of Nordic or Elder Scrolls-y feel to it. Yes, I feel exactly the same! The font used in Oblivion looked right, it was sort of emulating old world writing. The font used in Skyrim isn't the same. It doesn't gel with the game somehow. ShadowscaleB1980
It's just fonts! Even if you don't like it, you can probably mod it really easily. exactly, with oblivion they had mods for everything.
