Gunslam
Well I think that could be,but I`m not sure because the Game is getting more complicate and this would make it more difficult to create mods. What do you think?
tylitalo
I think (hope) that the devs realize the mods were a major part of the reason for the success of the previous two games in the series.
3WINTERS
I'm not sure if it'll be any more easier or harder but with more facets involved in the make up of this game there should be a lot more to play with for better or worse. I think we already heard that we can tweak the random quests' occurances if I remember correctly
Blu02
I think it will be even bigger, as Skyrim is a lot more hyped than Oblivion was. At least in the long run, as many will probably buy it for console first, but then realize how much more content there is for the PC-version :P Classic. The developers say the Creation Kit will be just as powerful as the ones for their Gamebryo-games, so that part is probably no problem. I'm only a bit concerned about the tools for creating/editing animations and such. But we'll see! In any way, it probably wont be any harder to just create mods for the game. There will probably however be more options and possibilities available for the really good artists of the community, to create some insane looking stuff ;) So compared to Oblivion-mods, I think there will be a much greater gap between regular amateur mods and the almost professionally made ones in Skyrim. Not that I'm complaining about that!
Gunslam
Hmm yes that could be but I´m worring about the graphics and textures for mods ,will thy look as good as the ones in the game? Gopher
My gut tells me it will dwarf the Oblivion mod scene. Just look at the FNV mod scene compared to FO3. Basically a lot of modders had some fairly sophisticated mods up and running within weeks of FNV release because they literally started modding the second the game unlocked. FO4 will be even worse. I think Skyrim will be the same. Many of us will probably do nothing but make mods for several weeks before even playing more than the first 10 minutes of the game :) I sort of wish Bethesda would release the mod tools earlier than the game so we can get to grips with it in advance. BelgarionNL
gopher thats not a bad idea :P but i still think they prefer you to play the game first :P see all their hard work! first game will be mod free unless something critical is missing :D

If I don't have at least 3 mods finsihed before I am a tenth the way through the game, I will be truly amazed.
Povuholo
I think (hope) that the devs realize the mods were a major part of the reason for the success of the previous two games in the series. They have. Lots of people from the Oblivion modding scene will probably move to Skyrim. And there'll be new fans. I'm sure the community will be as big, if not bigger, than Oblivion's. I'm not expecting modding to be much more difficult either. Edited October 13, 2011 by Povuholo
Blu02
Hmm yes that could be but I´m worring about the graphics and textures for mods ,will thy look as good as the ones in the game? I dont see why not. Most textures in the game are still low/mid-resolution, optimized for consoles. They wont be very hard to surpass for most modders.
