As already said, this is a PC & Mods site, so a poll on whether we will get it on console is kind of useless. As it is a PC site, most of the people posting on TheNexus will get it for PC only. If you want to play on console, there are sites that deal with just consoles that will have much more info on consoles. Although, IMHO, none nearly as good as this one.

For those still trying to figure out how to get a computer with DVI only output to a TV with HDMI only input, there are inexpensive adapters. I paid less than US $3 for mine.

NOTE: DVI does not carry Audio, but HDMI does Your PC may or may not put audio on the HDMI - if you want to use your TV speakers  OR ,an audio amp  you will have to send it another way - OR, get a more expensive adapter box to put the audio on the HDMI.

There are also DVI>VGA adapters. DVI>Component video (3 RCA plugs), Display port>DVI, mini DVI > DVI, and many others.

My current setup (Subject to change without notice) takes a DVI out of a Computer video card, a S/PDIF (fiber Optic) out of a sound card into a box which combines them onto a single HDMI output to my AV stereo amp, which separates out the sound for my 5.1 speakers, then sends the video on to my wall mounted TV through another HDMI cable.

However, I rarely put games on the TV. Instead I prefer them on my 21 inch desk top monitor. The TV setup is great for sporting events that are not carried by my local TV channels but are carried on the internet though.

Details and sources for parts on request.

I'll be getting it for PS3 because I don't own a PC :( But I'm excited as hell for it nevertheless. Also, I think I've had two dreams in the past week where they announce that modding will be available to console versions of Skyrim. Two.

There isn't any mods on the consoles, they are capable of allowing mods for play on the consoles, but Sony and Microsoft won't agree to allowing people to download free content.

Hence, the dreams.

It's not that they'd want people to pay for the mods, it's that allowing player-uploaded mods would allow all kinds of malicious shenanigans to be introduced to the console networks. It not because they're greedy money-grubbing jerks, it's about security. About 3 seconds after Microsoft or Sony allowed console owners to save mods to their consoles via usb or other method outside of the approved channels, all kinds of hacker/crackers are going to upload "mods" that root your console, or allow players to cheat in unrelated games, or insert malicious code to the main network. That's why they have the stance they do.

It's the smart thing for them to do. It's not fun for console player who see all the cool mods that PC players can use, but Microsoft and Sony have a bigger picture to look at.
