Console gamer also here.

I have it preordered for Ye Ole Three-Sixty, since my home PC is a piece of junk only good for Minecraft, Teh Intarwebz and .NET programming, and because I'm one of the few people who doesn't give a flying damn about mods :D

Lol what if MS allowed mods for 360?

I'm getting Skyrim on PC. Ever since I saw mods on for Fallout 3, I haven't played the Xbox 360 versions of Oblivion, Fallout 3 or NV since. PC gaming is generally superior, but that's a matter of perspective, because while better graphics and mods are available, so are the typical problems that come with PCs. I only use my Xbox 360 for Red Dead Redemption, every other game I have on it is available on PC (except Forza 3).

I still wouldn't give a bigger flying damn :D

Console gamer here. I just come here for the forums.

Later, after I've done EVERYTHING I CAN in Skyrim, I'll mod the gavesave (if I wish to keep playing that save) off my Xbox, so I can continue playing on the computer version with that save (which I plan on buying later).

This is assuming that the PC save and Xbox save are the same types of files, which was an extremely convenient truth in Oblivion. It's something I constantly did for Oblivion, so I could do certain things on the Xbox version that other's just wouldn't be able to do.

No content adding mods, I'm not that kind of modder (for Xbox), although it is possible if you know what you're doing. Just little things, like an extra pair of Boots of Springheel Jak to wear, so I would still have them upon Thieve's Guild completion.

Either way, I'm a console gamer hands down. Doesn't mean I won't be getting the PC version later.

this resumes my situation, thank you

you can legally mod your xbox, but you cant use those mods on Xbox Live, and also the process of modding on xbox is harder than just modding on PC. im still going xbox, for me its more confortable and we get dlc early. :)

According to the maker of the Xbox, Microsoft, you cannot legally mod it. They claim It says so in the documentation that comes with their product. If you want to argue or discuss that please do it on THEIR site, not here as we do not allow it.

Our policy is to not allow any discussion of modding consoles as long as the manufacturers say it is not legal. If you have a problem with this please take it up with the Lawyers at Microsoft and Sony as we don't want to deal with them.

And, we do ban for discussing console modding, asking for help on console modding, giving help or advice on console modding and giving or asking for links to other sites that do support console modding.
