Correct me if I'm wrong but I do remember Todd saying somewhere in an interview that your able to port mods over to consoles somehow....don't as me how, I don't know.

You won't be able to. Howard said he'd like to, but Microsoft/Sony tell him no, he can't.

I'd just like to correct something. He said at this time they can't do it via XBL/PSN, for whatever reasons. Most likely rating preservation and prevention of malicious downloads. They are looking into it though and trying to work something out. (That's how he made it sound anyway.) You CAN, however, still mod the 360 version. Both the PC and 360 versions of Oblivion -and Skyrim will too, says Todd himself- use all the same file types, this means that if you know how to and have the materials to do it, you CAN still mod the 360 version, just not "officially".

Note: Change that "officially" to Legally

And Tod Howard's opinion is worth what when you get sued by Microsoft for breaking their DRM?

According to the maker of the Xbox, Microsoft, you cannot legally mod it. They claim It says so in the documentation that comes with their product. If you want to argue or discuss that please do it on THEIR site, not here as we do not allow it.

Our policy is to not allow any discussion of modding consoles as long as the manufacturers say it is not legal. If you have a problem with this please take it up with the Lawyers at Microsoft and Sony as we don't want to deal with them.

And, we do ban for discussing console modding, asking for help on console modding, giving help or advice on console modding and giving or asking for links to other sites that do support console modding.

And not "legally" either. I would be a bit careful with the wording, since the rules on this site are a bit strict on the subject console modding.

To be precise, they mentioned that they through their own tools managed to get 3rd party mods working on consoles - which really isn't much of a surprise since it's the same process they do when they make the rest of the game and it's dlcs available to consoles. Even if skyrim is a "port" from console to PC, it doesn't change the fact that all games are still developed in a PC.

We are getting on shaky ground here. Discussing moding consoles is forbidden.

Lets just not do it and let Tod Howard and Microsoft's lawyers fight it out.

I was going to get it for the pc, even preordered it for the pc, but I wasn't able to save up enough money for a new pc and some of the money I did save I had to use to pay bills so I was left with even less. So I switched to xbox360. Doesn't bother me, feel more at home playing it on the xbox360.

I'm getting it on PC. Mainly because I don't own a Console and got a nice PC that could last me a few years.

I'm not getting a Console anytime soon, but Consoles is easier to play games on.

I think that's why more kids play Consoles more than PC, cause they don't have to worry about Hardware, Performance, etc etc.

You just turn on the power, put the disc in, and start smashing buttons.

Not that I'm saying I'm a Adult.(Technically, I'm a Teenager.) But I know about Computers more than Consoles.

I can't get over my first experience playing a console and "immature" kids poop over the fact that they lose to me on a match of CoD.

And kept swearing at me just because they lose. Worst experience ever, Imo.

PS. I'm not making any sense, am I? >.<
