Cyberote
I'm not worried. Like the posts above me said, they probably just fast travelled and ran past everything. Even still, having the speed run last an hour longer than FO3 and Oblivions' is quite impressive.
Seviche
morrowind's fastest speedrun is 4:19.... minutesThat was impressive. Confusing, especially for someone (like me) who didn't put more than 20 hours into the game, but still impressive. Speed runs are funny things; they're neat, but they can show how much of the quest is actual "doing" stuff. It also shows that most content is filler. Not that I don't like filler; I mean sausage wouldn't be the same without it, but there's still filler in it. Fillers adds to the flavor (otherwise sausage would be a tube of shredded and seasoned ham, which sounds really good right now ) but a speed run just draw attention to the amount. Not that I really care. Let's be honest here; we're actually here for the filler. I played over 300 hours of Fallout: New Vegas and I only completed the main quest the first time I played. I don't consider myself unusual in this regard. I've only completed the main quest in Oblivion once and I doubt I'll be doing it again. All the other stuff to do is far more interesting. Felscor
Is that what a sausage is? My world of intestines stuffed with scrape meat is shattered! Any I interpreted the speed run that took twice as long as Oblivion and Fallout 3 as a sign that Skyrim is so much larger and longer? Don't know where this fear of a short game is coming from. That Morrowind run through seems sus. I'll find the one I saw.
Felscor
This one: is much more reliable in my opinion. Easier to replicate too probably, to prove it's legitimate. Edited October 16, 2011 by Felscor
